Open Entrepreneurship

Open Entrepreneurship is a Danish initiative aiming to bridge the gap between industry and the academic world in order to create a favourable climate for innovation and start-up companies.
It brings together the four Danish universities; Aalborg University, Aarhus University, IT University of Copenhagen and the Technical University of Denmark with Californian UC Berkeley as a strategic partner.

By connecting experienced entrepreneurs with researchers very early on, Open Entrepreneurship aims to explore commercial and innovative opportunities which will lead to a much deeper understanding of the different options available for the research team. Ultimately Open Entrepreneurship will expand and develop the existing ecosystem into a technology commercialization community.

The initiative is constantly developing and bringing sectors, nationalities and disciplines closer together. You can keep track of their events here.
