Fiber Sensors & Supercontinuum

Led by Prof. Ole Bang, the Fiber Sensors and Supercontinuum group is an interdisciplinary team that embraces a wide range of topics within fibers and nonlinear optics. It is equipped with high-end optical, grating and chemical laboratory facilities. The two state-of-the-art fiber draw towers are a further important part of the group.  The group works on the research and development of fiber-based sensor technology, supplemented with extensive work in supercontinuum laser technologies and explore their usage in the state of the art imaging modalities.
