Fiber Sensors & Supercontinuum

Led by Prof. Ole Bang, The Fiber Sensors and Supercontinuum group is an interdisciplinary team that embraces a wide range of topics within fibers and nonlinear optics. It is equipped with high-end optical, grating and chemical laboratory facilities. The two state of the art fiber draw towers are further important part of the group.  The group works on the research and development of fiber-based sensor technology, supplemented with extensive work in new supercontinuum laser technologies and explore their usage in the state of the art imaging modalities.
